Gouda Doppio (Cheese with Coffee)

The Gouda Doppio is a truly special Gouda cheese specialty. The dairy consists of a layer of cow’s milk cheese and a layer of goat’s milk. In between is a layer of espresso, which is sprinkled by hand by the cheesemakers. The taste of the coffee permeates the cheese and forms a special taste sensation.
